Since there is now a “National Day” for pretty much everything these days, today is National Hot Dog Day! If you’re like me, you’ve been looking forward to this holiday for months, took a day off of work, and have been busy all morning putting the finishing touches on a traditional Hot Dog tree.

Well, in the spirit of National Hot Dog Day, I’m highlighting four great places to get a hot dog at Disney World.

Casey’s Corner – Magic Kingdom

Located on Main Street, Casey’s is the first place that comes to mind whenever I’m in the mood for a hot dog at the Magic Kingdom. With its vintage ball park feel, something about chowing down on a hot dog here just feels right. You have four options here: the classic Chili-Cheese Dog, a Barbecue Slaw Dog topped with pulled pork, a Polish Sausage topped with caramelized onions and stone-ground mustard, or just a simple hot dog. You can also opt for the corn dog nuggets, which is a favorite of my sister.

Barbecue Slaw Dog - Casey' s Corner - Magic Kingdom Dining

On my last visit to Casey’s, I opted for the Slaw Dog.  This thing was a beast! Easily sharable by two people. I felt that there was a bit too much slaw on top of the dog, but I’m not a huge fan of coleslaw to begin with.

My one tip in regards to Casey’s is that it get really slammed during typical lunch and dinner hours. Visit here for a late lunch or early dinner to avoid those lines.

Ok, so what if you want something a bit more adventurous in the hot dog department? Head to Tomorrowland, because apparently in the future hot dogs are much more elaborate. Diners can enjoy a BLT Hot Dog, topped with bacon, lettuce, tomato, and ranch dressing. Topped with beef, onions, peppers, mushrooms, and cheese sauce, the Philly Cheese Steak Hot Dog combines two of my favorite foods. Finally, the Coney Island Dog is topped with chili, onions, and mustard. Guests who want just a plain old hot dog can find it at a nearby cart.

Fairfax Fare – Hollywood Studios

Want to have a bit of a classier hot dog experience? Fairfax Fare offers up gourmet hot dogs at the end of Hollywood Studios’ Sunset Boulevard. Options include a Barbecue Pork and Coleslaw Gourmet Hot Dog, the Chili Dog, and the decadent Macaroni & Cheese and Truffle Oil Gourmet Hot Dog.

Fantasy Fare Food Truck – Downtown Disney

Fantasy Fare - Food Truck Downtown Disney

What if you’re craving a corn dog? Disneyland’s Corn Dog is an iconic, classic theme park treat. I had my first Disneyland Corn Dog experience at California Adventure’s hilariously themed Corn Dog Castle, and it was pretty amazing. At Downtown Disney at Disney World, you have a chance to experience the hand dipped Corn Dog that’s so famous in Anaheim. The Fantasy Fare Food Truck offers dishes from the other Magic Kingdom-style parks around the world, and Disneyland’s offering the the Corn Dog. If you’re at Downtown Disney, be sure to try out a Disneyland-style Corn Dog.

Of course, those aren’t the only four places to get hot dogs at Disney World. From the Boardwalk to Frair’s Nook to Fort Wilderness, there are a myriad of options for hot dogs at WDW. What’s your favorite? Let me know in the comments below!
