This jungle themed restaurant is an attraction unto itself. As they enter the Rainforest Cafe, diners are are greeted by audio-animatronic monkeys above, tigers to the right, and elephants to the left as the vines of the jungle engulf them. The jungle regularly comes alive with sounds and movements of all the animals at this restaurant. Children (and some adults) will love the sensory overload that Rainforest Cafe provides.

The menu is extensive. Appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, seafood, beef, pork, chicken, and pasta all comprise this massive menu. The bar serves up tropical and frozen beverages with catchy names like “Monkey Business.”

There are two locations at the Walt Disney World Resort: one by the entrance of Animal Kingdom and one in Downtown Disney. The Animal Kingdom location is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, while Downtown Disney’s location is only open for lunch and dinner.

Tip: You do not need park admission to get into the Rainforest Cafe located at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Tip: Be sure to join the Safari Club for discount on food and advanced seating.
