Magic Kingdom’s Be Our Guest restaurant has been a huge hit with guests since it opened in late 2012, but it has only served lunch and dinner so far. Many wondered if and when breakfast would be available at the “Beauty and the Beast” themed restaurant, and today Disney gave an answer to this long pondered question. As part of a limited run test, Be Our Guest will serve breakfast from 8 am – 10 am daily beginning March 20th. The test will run until June 18th.

Be Our Guest has an odd hybrid nature to it: quick service lunch and a table service dinner. Breakfast itself will be a hybrid, offered as a prix fixe menu but served in a “fast casual” style. Much like lunch, breakfast is a quick service dining credit, and reservations will be available for breakfast starting tomorrow.

The French-inspired menu looks to be a refreshing change of pace from the other breakfast offerings at Magic Kingdom. The meal starts off with a pastry basket for your table to share. Entrees include Eggs Florentine served in a puff pastry, Scrambled Egg Whites with roasted tomatoes, Vegetable Quiche with mushrooms and zucchini, and a charcuterie board of assorted meats and cheese. However, I probably wouldn’t be able to resist the decadent looking Croissant Donut. This looks to be the same Croissant Donut from Epcot (one of my favorite desserts at Disney World), but topped with bananas, caramel sauce, chocolate ganache, and whipped cream. You can read more about the menu on the Disney Parks Blog.

Be Our Guest Breakfast: croissant donut topped with bananas, caramel sauce, chocolate ganache, and whipped cream.

Guests will be able to make reservations through www.disneyworld.com/dine, the My Disney Experience app, or by calling 407-WDW-DINE starting on March 17. I would expect demand for this breakfast to be pretty high, so try to get a reservation as soon as you can. Breakfast will be $19.99 for adults and $11.99 for kids ages 3-9. The prix fixe menu sits as a reasonable alternative to the Winnie the Pooh character breakfast at the Crystal Palace, which has a buffet for $29.99 for adults and $15 for children.

I would expect the test to be extended if demand is high enough, a la the Epcot After Hours Wind Down that debuted last year.
