If you are a Platinum, Platinum Plus or Premier Passholder, you have the chance to visit Black Spire Outpost a few days before the general public at Walt Disney World. Disney just announced more details for their Annual Passholder previews for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
The 14-acre expansion will open to the public on August 29, 2019 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The Galaxy’s Edge AP Preview at Disney World will run from August 17-21, making this a much shorter preview than Disneyland’s 3 week reservation period.
Invitations will be sent via email. Limit one reservation per Passholder, and reservations cannot be modified.
It looks like there will be timed windows for the previews, much like the 4 hour reservation at Disneyland. Unlike Disneyland, if someone wants to add a guest to their reservation, they must also be a Platinum, Platinum Plus, or Premier AP and be linked on your Disney World account as a Family Member or Friend. Another difference is that guests will be able to register for either the Cantina or the Savi’s Lightsaber Building experience ahead of time. It is unclear if you will be able to register for both, although the language appears to indicate that you can only choose one.
If you are lucky enough to receive an invitation to this limited preview, be sure to check out these articles. They will be a helpful guide to Batuu.
