Happy Valentine’s Day! At Guide2WDW, we’re feeling extra romantic and excited to share some of the most magical and enchanting restaurants to visit with your significant other at Disney World.

Although Disney is known for being family-friendly, there are plenty of ways to create romantic and unforgettable moments. One of the best ways is to treat you and your loved one to a magical meal in a romantic setting.

Today, we’re highlighting our top 7 most romantic restaurants at Disney World. These restaurants provide a sensational atmosphere, food, beverages, and service that all combine for a great date night. For example, while Be Our Guest features a beautiful ballroom and French cuisine, it tends to be pretty loud and crowded with families. Not exactly romantic, which is why it’s not on the list.

Whether you are traveling sans kids or you are letting grandma and grandpa take the kids into the park for the evening, here are the most romantic restaurants you can dine at in all of Disney World.

Update 2/14/2023 – We’ve updated our list to include a few more of our favorite romantic restaurants.

7) La Cava Del Tequila – Epcot

Cava del Tequila - Epcot Dining

When we travel, my wife and I love to go on a drink/appetizer tour, where we will walk around a city, sniff out interesting looking restaurants and bars, and split an appetizer and a drink. EPCOT’s World Showcase is perfectly suited to providing an international twist on our favorite foodie tour. And our favorite stop has become the tiny tequila cavern located inside the Mexico Pavilion.

If you and your partner enjoy drinks and appetizers, La Cava Del Tequila is the perfect place for you. Snuggle up in the intimate and warm underground atmosphere, and sip on the best margaritas at Disney World (and possibly anywhere else).

Don’t forget to try the avocado margarita and the queso – they’re ridiculously good!

You can’t get a full meal here, but it’s a perfect way to kick off or cap an magical evening at EPCOT.

6) Tutto Gusto – Epcot

Tutto Gusto - Disney World Restaurant - Romantic

Wine and cheese in a dimly lit wine cellar? Yes, please!

Tutto Gusto is an intimate wine bar that offers a variety of small plates, wine flights, and desserts. They also serve the full menu from neighboring Tutto Italia, which makes this a great choice if you are tasting your way around the World Showcase or want to sit down for a nice Italian dinner.

As with most things romance, atmosphere makes a big difference, which is why I’d recommend grabbing a seat at a small two-top or at the bar underneath the wine bottle chandeliers. Bonus tip: time it right and try to finish your meal right before EPCOT’s for a great end to your evening.

5) Wine Bar George

Wine Bar George Upstairs Patio

Another bar? Perhaps you’re sensing a theme. However, Wine Bar George is our favorite restaurant for a date at Disney Springs because of how flexible it is! Featuring waterfront views and an unrivaled wine menu, it’s perfect for a quick and casual lunch or a dressed up date night.

First thing we should talk about is the wine, of course. Wine Bar George features an extensive wine list with over 140 wines available by the glass, bottle, or even by the ounce — so you can try that insanely expensive wine while sticking to your budget. The wine list is curated by Master Sommelier / Owner George Miliotes, who is known for his expertise in wine selection and pairing. George will often roam from table to table, but if you don’t catch him, the servers are also extremely knowledgeable and can help guide you through the selection process.

Now, the food:  the menu is perfect for sharing with your significant other. You can split a charcuterie board, small plates like Hummus and Pork Belly, or even a family-style order of Grilled Whole Greek Sea Bass.

For an extra-special romantic experience, consider booking one of their Wine Tasting Experiences, where you can enjoy a private wine tasting with a sommelier in a secluded area of the restaurant.

4) Toppolino’s Terrace

Topolinos Terrace - Disney World Restaurant

If you’re looking for a romantic dining experience with some of the best views at Disney World, look no further than Topolino’s Terrace. Located on the top floor of Disney’s Riviera Resort, this elegant rooftop restaurant boasts stunning panoramic views, including fireworks from both EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.

Not only is the atmosphere incredibly romantic, but the food is also a highlight. Feast upon the flavors of the Riviera with a Mediterranean-inspired menu featuring dishes like Burrata with Black Truffle, Slow-roasted Octopus, Lobster Linguine, Sea Scallops and Filet Mignon.

Tip for Parents: If you’re not able to find babysitting, Topolino’s Terrace actually has our favorite Disney World character meal. The restaurant offers a surprisingly relaxed and upscale brunch with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy in their Parisian attire. It won’t be date night at Disney World, but at least you’ll get to enjoy a more luxurious meal while the kids get to interact with their favorite characters.

3) Tiffins – Animal Kingdom

Octopus - Tiffins - Disney World Restaurant Romantic

What is more romantic than creating a memory? Create a lasting memory with your significant other at Tiffins.

Before we were married, my wife and I had a lunch at Tiffins, and we still talk about that meal. Part of it was the bold and delicious menu: charred octopus and tamarind-braised short rib stand out as favorites. It’s perfect for a culinary adventure.

The travel-inspired decor will make you feel like you’re on a journey, and you’ll have a meal to remember for years to come.

I strongly recommend Tiffins for a romantic meal at Disney World, but if you want something in a similar vein outside of the parks, try Sanaa or Jiko at Animal Kingdom Lodge.

2) California Grill – Contemporary Resort

Dessert - California Grill - Disney World Restaurant - Romantic

The food. The view. The fireworks! Perched atop the Contemporary Resort, California Grill has these in spades. Yes, the food here is among the best in all of Disney World. Between modern twists on sushi rolls, amazing steaks, and pork two-ways that is to die for, you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu at California Grill.

But what puts this restaurant over the top is that it’s literally on top of the Contemporary. Featuring panoramic windows, California Grill has some of the best views you’ll find in Orlando. If you get lucky with a window-side table, order a dessert and after dinner coffee or cocktail and stick around for the Magic Kingdom fireworks. They pipe the music in, which makes for an amazing evening.

Disney World Tip: Even if you are not at the window or just dining at the lounge/bar, you are welcome to view the fireworks on two wide outdoor walkways right next to the restaurant. And if your reservation is for earlier in the evening (i.e. 5 pm), you can have your meal, leave, and return to view the fireworks from these viewing areas.

1) Victoria & Albert’s – Grand Floridian

Victoria and Albert’s Reopening
Disney

Posh? Check. Upscale? Definitely check. Romantic? Most definitely.

If you are in a position to splurge and want the ultimate way to celebrate your love over a meal, Victoria & Albert’s is the obvious choice. This is a dining experience unlike any other at Walt Disney World. In fact, it’s the only restaurant at Disney World (and Central Florida) to win AAA’s Five Diamond Award.

Whether you are dining in the opulent dining room, the intimate Queen Victoria’s Room, or at the Chef’s Table, you are sure to have a meal of a lifetime. And, yes, you will be paying quite handsomely for that meal. A 7-course meal costs $295 per person, which is certainly steep, but it will be one of the most elegant and exquisite meals you’ll ever have. Guide2WDW contributor Meredith shared her experience at Victoria & Albert’s, and she still highly recommends it.

If you’re looking to make a special occasion extra special, look no further.
