Have you ever dreamt of walking down the aisle with a big beautiful castle in the background? Disney is now making that romantic fantasy come true by offering wedding ceremonies inside the Magic Kingdom in a truly spectacular setting. As part of the “Wishes Collection” set of Disney Fairy Tale Wedding packages, a couple can now say “I Do” in front of up to 100 guests in the East Plaza Garden with a stunning view of Cinderella Castle in the background.

This wedding truly earns the “Fairy Tale” moniker, with trumpeters heralding the bride’s entrance down Main Street in Cinderella’s glass coach or a horse drawn carriage. The ceremony takes place in the hour before the park opens, so parkgoers on Main Street early for rope drop might get a glimpse of the bride and groom. The wedding party is then invited to enjoy a reception at one of the many other venues elsewhere at Walt Disney World resort.

Cinderella Carriage - Disney World Wedding

So, how much does this dream wedding cost? Wishes Collections wedding packages start at $12,000. Despite the high price tag, I can imagine that the East Plaza Garden will be an extremely popular venue for brides and grooms who want to get married at Disney World. If you are interested in having your wedding at Disney World, check out DisneyWeddings.com to find out more details. If you want to get married right in front of the castle, I would suggest booking in as far advance as possible. If not, there are many other options for wedding venues throughout Disney World, including the Wedding Pavilion at the Grand Floridian, Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club, and many locations throughout Epcot’s World Showcase. Wedding packages are also available for smaller budgets – this means a smaller guest list, which isn’t always a bad thing.
