Review: The Fulton Crab House is our
favorite place to eat in Disney. We travel to Disney an average of twice
a year and every time we go, we make it a point to visit this incredible
establishment at least twice while we're there. The food is nothing
short of spectacular, the wait staff is always charming and helpful and
for the quality of food and service, it is well worth the price.
I was genuinely surprised to read negative reviews for this restaurant.
I've been there 12-15 times and have never once had a problem. The only
time I ever waited long to be seated was on a Saturday night on a
holiday weekend and we didn't have a reservation or priority seating.
Don't be afraid to try this fantastic restaurant. It would be a shame to
miss it. I send all of my friends and family there when they are in
Disney and they all have had great things to say about it as well. Try
the Lobster Bisque...it's the best I've EVER had!!

Review: While visiting some friends in the
Disney area, my wife and I had decided to have a nice night out and go
to Fulton’s for dinner. I have to admit that the prices were a little
shocking, but we were on vacation and went for broke. I have to say that
our night at Fulton’s was without a doubt the best dining experience of
my life. We had reservations so we were seated as soon as we walked in
the door, and the waiter was very nice and prompt. I ordered the
Australian crab claws and New England clam chowder, The best Chowder I
have ever had, and I go to Boston quite alot, beats Boston hands down.
The crab claws were so sweet and tender I had to add no butter. In a nut
shell I have to say by far the best meal I have ever had in my life, and
worth every Penny.

Review: My husband and I first
tried to eat at Cap'n Jacks also in Downtown Disney
but we decided to leave once we were seated and the area smelled
of garbage. We went to Fulton's thinking they were about the same price
point as it was indicated in the Downtown Disney Brochure (both Cap'n
Jacks and Fulton's were noted with the $$
sign). We were seated very quickly at Fulton's
and the atmosphere was very nice. The waiter was prompt (Wayne) but that
is where the good experience ends. We waited for quite some time for our
drinks (bottled beer) and salad. We struggled with what to chose for our
entree since we were a bit surprised with the prices. Once we decided no
big deal, lets get what we want, we ordered
anxiously awaiting our food. The wait for our dinner was extraordinarily
long. The waiter came by at one point to say that the kitchen got
"backed up"; which is usually a cop out for he failed to put the order
in immediately after taking it. Once the food arrived I was shocked to
find that the taste was lacking in every way. I ordered the grilled
shrimp w/ lobster ravioli and my husband got the Grouper. Both were
tasteless, even with the sauces. Bottom line- if you are not used to
having good food go here- if you expect a memorable, good meal for the
price, don't go here.

Review: This is my family's
favorite restaurant to visit when we come to Disney. We have been here
numerous times, and are never disappointed! The food is always beyond
our expectations, and the service has always been good.

Review: Myself,
my husband and a friend of ours celebrated our Disney Marathon day
by treating ourselves to Fulton's Crab House for dinner.
It really completed an already perfect
day. The wait time was minimal,
the server was excellent and courteous
(Carl R), and the food was out of this world.
We had the Alaskan King crab legs and a host of other foods and
desert (creme brulee).
We had so much fun there and enjoyed the food so much
,we plan on running the marathon again next year so we can go back
and celebrate there again. I'm sorry some
people did not get to experience the same feeling we did.
I say go back and give them another
chance. Treat yourself to a fine
restaurant and don't miss this Florida treasure.

Review: I had dined here previously and the experience was very
good and that is why I recommended to the other 8 people to eat there.
This dining experience was greatly overshadowed by the poor attitude of
the staff. We visited this restaurant and I was so disappointed in the way
our party was treated by the staff that upon returning home, I felt
compelled to post this. Prior to being
seated for dinner we chose to sit on the deck of the boat and order
drinks. The service was slow and poor. The waiter took our drink order
and presumed that it was to be one bill. After a lengthy wait, we were
told our table was ready. We were being escorted upstairs. Firstly, the
waiter followed us to make sure that the drink bill was paid prior to us
going to eat. We indicated that we would simply add the drink bill to our
food bill. A discussion ensued and it was finally determined that the
drink bill would be added to the dinner bill. Secondly, after an hour and
a half wait we were finally told our table was ready. We were escorted
upstairs and found out that our table was still not ready. We once again
were told to wait while the table was set.
With 7 adults and 2 children (ages 5 and 9), we had a variety of meals.
These in themselves were filling. During
the evening the waiter who had previously served us drinks appeared to
clarify the drink bill. We indicated to
him who would be paying for what and he left. The waiter who served us
came out with a bill and once again questioned us as to who had ordered
what drinks. We once again had to clarify who had ordered what. During
the evening, a manager had come to the third floor -- and the waiter got
into a discussion with the manager -- right in front of us. I later
learned that he had been discussing our situation with him. He indicated
that the waiter was not in any way co-operative with him in determining
who should pay for what. It is unfortunate
that with large groups, a gratuity is automatically included. I would not
have left a gratuity at all after the poor quality of service.
By now, with everything that had happened, the evening was marred.
I would not even accept this treatment from a fast food place much less
from a $40 a plate establishment.
Atmosphere Review: We were seated on the third floor in one of the
private function rooms which was a nice arrangement for a party of 9 but
any atmosphere or ambiance --at least, in that section of the
restaurant--was not particularly noteworthy or evident.

Review: We had a wonderful meal in Fulton's
Crab House. The seafood was fresh, served with a smile and very tasty. The boat is very authentic and a
wonder
for children. The staff in the main are very friendly and helpful, the
major question mark is when you are trying to get a seat, we
wondered around for 15mins before we were asked
if we wanted a table or drink, it seemed a bit
disorganized staff wise but if you can accept this part and understand
how busy the whole place is you are in for a treat!

Review: I couldn't review the taste of the food at this
restaurant. I was traveling on business and ventured into the Fulton's
Crab House expecting to have a great crab dinner on my visit to Downtown
Disney in Orlando. I approached the hostess stand and asked for a table
for one. I told them I would prefer a table on the back deck outside.
The hostess told me to go on out and pick a table. I did. The view was
great. I waited. There were several tables full on the patio and several
servers were busy going to and from the inside, taking orders and serving
drinks and chit chatting with customers. I waited. Three additional
tables were seated and served drinks and appetizers as I waited for 35
minutes to be greeted or acknowledged. I left
Fulton's Crab House and told the hostess on my way out that even as a
single person traveling on business I was a good tipper and just as
deserving of service as a table for four.

Review: Neat idea, average food:
The service here was the major downfall. We were seated
promptly with menus for lunch on a slow day and over ten minutes elapsed
before we were attended to. We did bring this to the manager's attention &
they generously solved our problem, so a big plus there. The flounder
sandwich was ok. My wife had the shrimp/crab club sandwich, which was
nearly all bread. Average food. Poor wait staff. Above average
management's handling of the problem, it was rectified. This place could
be something really special if they can all get on the same page. A
paddlewheel restaurant docked.

Review: We recently ate at the Fulton Crab house. I was a
little worried because I had heard good and bad things about Fulton's.
We originally had a 5:00 reservation and we decided that we would rather
6:00pm and we called up -- no problem. We arrived and were
immediately seated. We ordered drinks and appetizers. Our food
and everything was wonderful. I have to recommend ordering the crab
claws -- they were amazing! Very sweet and delightful!
Everything seemed very fresh! We really enjoyed the overall
experience. I used to dine as a child when it was still the Empress
Lilly Character Breakfast! I love the boat and it is very authentic
serving seafood in it.
A+++++ for food, experience and friendliness!
