A Good Attraction, Worth A Moderate Wait

Located on a small stage next to the entrance to Star Tours, Jedi Training Academy: Trials of the Temple is part show, part interactive experience where the Jedi are looking to recruit and train their next generation. However, some of the Empire’s baddest villains crash the party and decide to test the might of the young Padawans. The best part? Disney World guests between the ages of 4-12 can be part of the show. On a first-come, first serve basis, guests that sign up are given a time where they can don a Jedi robe, grab a lightsaber, and face off against one of two Star Wars villains. Half of the Padawans will face off against the Seventh Sister from Star Wars Rebels, while the other half will face off against the Galaxy’s original bad guy: Darth Vader. The show also features appearances by Kylo Ren and the voice of Yoda.

This attraction is a must do for kids that are Star Wars fans. Not only will it be a thrill for them to dress like a Jedi and face off against an imposing member of the Dark Side, but parents and family members will get a kick seeing them in action. It is sure to create a long lasting Disney World memory for everyone involved. Even if you don’t have a child ages 4-12 in your party, it’s a worthwhile show to watch. The interactions can be both hilarious and heartwarming.

Jedi Training Academy: Trials of the Temple performs twice hourly throughout the day. Check the times guide for the daily schedule.
