A Good Attraction, But Don't Wait Too Long

Out with the new, and in with the original! Zazu, Iago, and the rest of the new management are gone, and back is the original cast of Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room. Now you can witness the classic songs that the animatronic birds of The Enchanted Tiki Room sang to the delight of Disney World guests young and old for decades.

A little bit of history for this attraction. One of the first Walt Disney World attractions, the Enchanted Tiki Room debuted as one of the original attractions in the Magic Kingdom. It was revamped in 1998 to feature Zazu from The Lion King and Iago from Aladdin. In 2011, the show re-opened to its original iteration, featuring classic songs “The Tiki Tiki Tiki Room” and “Let’s Sing Like All The Birdies Sing” as performed by dozens of feathered animatronics.

While we enjoyed the revamped “Under New Management” version, it’s great to see the show return to a bit of Disney Parks history. The songs are catchy and the show is fun for the whole family.

Tips and Trivia

  • When Walt Disney World opened in 1971, this attraction was called Tropical Serenade at Magic Kingdom, but it was a virtual copy of the Enchanted Tiki Room in Disneyland in California.
  • After visiting the Tiki Room, be sure to grab a delicious Dole Whip at the nearby Aloha Isle, or a Citrus Swirl at Sunshine Tree Terrace. Either of these treats make a perfect Adventureland treat.
