If you were planning on spending Halloween evening trick or treating in the Magic Kingdom, watching the spectacular Boo to You parade, and soaking in the HalloWishes fireworks… well, this news may be more of a trick than a treat. Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party has sold out on 10/31/2015. Tickets are still available for the other nights:
- September 15, 18, 20, 22, 25, 27
- October 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 12, 13, 15, 16, 18, 20, 22, 23, 25, 27, 29
- November 1
You can purchase tickets on Disney’s website.
So, what else could you do on Halloween night at Disney World? Be sure to check out the activities at your resort. Many resorts will have trick or treating or other Halloween themed activities. The Boardwalk has a dance party with character meet and greets that is great for kids.
What if you’re looking for a non-spooky way to spend Halloween? I actually had a great time at Epcot last year after stopping by the Boardwalk dance party. Despite it being a Friday night during the Food and Wine Festival, it was surprisingly uncrowded in the World Showcase. Guess everyone else was too busy dressing up at the Magic Kingdom or something. While Australian Lamb Chops or Mexican Fried Shrimp Tacos aren’t strictly speaking “traditional Halloween treats,” they were still delicious.
