Do you love desserts, Disney villains, and have an extra $99 to spare? Then Disney has an event for you! Each night during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, Lady Tremaine and her villainous friends will take over Cinderella’s Royal Table for a dessert party deemed the Sinister Soiree. The restaurant located inside Cinderella’s Castle will get a fiendish yet refined makeover, which should make for an interesting and eerie experience. A live piano player will provide entertainment, and Lady Tremaine will even sing a few solos. Guests will dine on sweet treats and specialty non-alcoholic beverages.

What else do you get with the Sinister Soiree package? Guests who purchase the package will get preferred viewing for the 8:15 Boo-to-You Parade and HalloWishes, which are definitely two of the must-see highlights of Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. The viewing location is in the central plaza by the Castle stage. Guests will also receive an autograph card and a souvenir Maleficent dragon cup.

The Villains’ Sinister Soiree takes place at 10:15 and 11:45 PM on September 1, 9, and 12. For all other nights of Mickey’s Not So Scary (Sept 14, 16, 19, 21, 23, 26, 28, Oct 2, 3, 5, 9, 10, 13, 16, 17, 19, 21, 23, 24, 26, 28, 30, and 31), the dessert party will only take place at 10:15 PM. Check in will take place from 4-6:30 PM at Will Call outside the main entrance to Magic Kingdom. Reservations can be made by calling 407-939-5262.

The biggest question that remains: Is it worth it? $99 per person is a significant amount of money for a dessert party/entertainment offering, especially when you consider that you must also buy admission to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. The preferred viewing locations for Boo-to-You and HalloWishes are a huge plus. For me, those are the two main draws of the party, and getting preferred viewing would conceivably save time and stress. Whether that is worth $99 per person will vary depending on your perspective.

With these premium add-ons popping up at Disney World for the Frozen Summer Event, Epcot Food and Wine, and now Mickey’s Not So Scary, I would bet $99 that a similar offering will be added to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

What do you think about this premium event? Will this be part of your Halloween plans at Disney World?
