Review:  One bedroom at OKW was very spacious, convenient and comfortable.  If you travel with family, here is the place, shuttle run was very frequent, pool was nice and warm (December 2002).  Studio was OK, but for the money, we would love to stay at the one bedroom again.   We also dine at '1900 Park Fare' for dinner with character, it was wonderful, food was good, Winnie the Pooh and his friends were wonderful ..... we all had a great time!

If you decide to stay at a resort in the park, stay at the Old Key West.  Everyone was so nice and our place was beautiful.  The room service was outstanding.  The bus came right down from our room and we never had to wait no more than 15 min for a bus.  And it was always refreshing after a long day in the park to go to the hot tub for some R & R before going to bed.  Thanks OLD KEY WEST.

Review: I have come to expect a high degree of service from WDW. It was therefore as surprising as it was distressing when our last visit 2-2002 turned out to be substandard.  We had seven people in our party, six adults and a one year old (his first time in Disney).  Upon our arrival we where told by the CM's that bell service would be provided.  However, we where simply told by the bell service we could park our vehicle in front of our room. Since we where traveling with a large party we where expecting to have bell service.  The following day we had dinner at Olivia's and where greeted by very nice CM's who gave us a great deal of information about new rides since our last visit.  Moreover, the waitress who took our order was very nice.  However, when we went to the bell service to receive a ride to our room we where informed that he was unable to take us.  Upon our arrival we found our hotel room door ajar.  Although nothing was taken I notified the front desk of the incident.  The manager on staff was very nice and understanding.  Now, I'm sure you know Disney's policy on how you can have your Disney purchases delivered to your hotel. Well, we where informed that we could not have our items delivered to our hotel due to old key west no longer belonging to Disney. In addition, my mother in-law made a one day reservation for the All-Star  when they arrived the where told WDW no longer had rooms available. Imagine their surprise being that they made, paid, and had a confirmation from the lobby of Old Key West. They where finally given a room. When they entered there was luggage in it.  It seems that so many thing went wrong on this trip. I've stayed in so many WDW resorts and I've never had such poor service.  The hotel room was just okay...We had a three bedroom Suite and there was a lot of maintenance problem for the price we paid.  I've been left dumbfounded by these last events. I know it's easier to criticize than to praise but I'm sure you can see why I'm criticizing. I've written to WDW I'm not sure if I will get a response. Despite all, It was a once in a life time experience seeing the magic of WDW through my one year old son's eyes. We are returning to WDW for mother day 2002 and we are staying at the Grand Floridian. I'm sure all will go well and we will receive the renowned service we have come to know from WDW. Sorry for such a long letter.

Review: I got the wonderful opportunity to stay at Old Key West this past June. It was wonderful and completely convenient. I felt as if I were really in the Keys. The rooms were spacious in our 2-room villa and the view from our balcony was breath taking. However, we were a little close to the golf course and my boyfriend and I almost got hit with a golf ball, but it made the experience more memorable. The ferry ride to Downtown Disney was very convenient and unique. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone that is coming with a big group. Enjoy!!

Review: The Old Key West (OKW) is one of the best places to stay.  There a four different rooms, I recommend either the one bedroom or two bed room if you have more than 3 people.  Both rooms have a full size kitchen and each bedroom has its own bathroom and TV.  The grounds at OKW is also nice.  It does remind one that they are at the Keys.  This is a perfect place if you have more than 3 or more people.
