These days are great days for us Disney lovers! Much of the excitement and anticipation has focused around the opening of Pandora – The World of Avatar, but Disney is constantly introducing new events, specials and activities for guests. It’s hard to keep track sometimes, right?! Don’t you fret, because we at Guide2WDW have you covered.
Here are some upcoming events, entertainment and specials you don’t want to miss:
Enjoy the bioluminescent beauty of Pandora – The World of Avatar with nightly Extra Magic Hours
From May 27 through July 4, guests staying at Walt Disney World resort hotels can enjoy nightly Extra Magic Hours at Pandora – The World of Avatar in the Animal Kingdom. Pandora will be one of those experiences that you have to see both day and night – and with Extra Magic Hours, guests can enjoy this whole new world from 11pm to 1am. Valid theme park admission and resort ID will be required.
Disney FastPass+ selections for Pandora – The World of Avator available beginning March 24!
If you are one of the lucky ones who will be in Disney for the opening of Avatar, get ready to start planning because FastPass+ selections will be available starting March 24 on My Disney Experience. FastPass+ will be available for two attactions: Avatar Flight of Passage and Na’vi River Journey. It looks like Animal Kingdom may be joining Epcot and Hollywood Studios in tiering its FastPass+ attractions as well, as guests are only allowed to choose one of these two Pandora attractions for their first set of FastPass+ selections. Please note that as usual, the window to select Fast Pass+ attractions for Walt Disney World resort guests opens 60 days prior to check-in.
The Music of Pixar LIVE! to debut at Disney’s Hollywood starting May 26
As if the shows at Hollywood Studios were not awesome enough, there’s another show that will be added to the list! This time, it’s The Music of Pixar LIVE! A Symphony of Characters – imagine your favorite music from unforgettable Pixar films brought to life with a live orchestra and appearances by Disney Pixar characters like Woody, Jessie, Mike and Sulley, the Incredibles, and more. The show will be presented three times nightly at the Theater of the Stars (where Beauty and the Beast will continue to play during the day). Now tell me, do you have Randy Newman’s voice singing You’ve Got A Friend In Me stuck in your head yet?
Disney introduces the 4 Park Magic Ticket special just in time for summer!
Disney is offering a limited-time 4 Park Magic Ticket so you can experience all four Walt Disney World theme parks at a discounted rate! Here’s how the ticket works: you get one admission to each Walt Disney World theme park – Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom – for 4 separate days. You can’t go to the same park more than once, but it’s still a great deal at only $79 per person per day! Tickets are available for purchase from March 22 through July 30, and the ticket is valid for theme park admission from April 30 through September 30. Tickets must be used within 14 days of first use or by September 30, whichever happens first.
