Review:  If you are visiting the Animal Kingdom or Downtown Disney, this restaurant is a must see!!  It is so neat to see!  Once you step inside, it feels as if you have stepped into an actual rainforest.  Everything looks and sounds so realistic including the rainforest thunderstorm that rolls through as you're eating!  It really is a great experience!  All the food is great and the portions are excellent.  I wouldn't miss going to eat there again if we were at the Walt Disney World resort.

Review:  My husband, three children (ages 6,3,1) and I ate at Rainforest cafe at 11:30 lunch. Downtown Disney was getting pretty busy at this time but luckily, we were able to get a table with no waiting, I recommend making priority seating, by the time we were finished there were people waiting an hour for seating. Request the Gorilla room if you have children. We ate under a big mushroom in the elephant room and didn't benefit from the fish tanks and animals as much as I hoped we would. It was noisy and busy, not the place for a romantic dinner but perfect for a fun meal! I ordered the grilled chicken Cobb salad and it was enough for the whole family! I shared with it with the children to go with their kid's meals.  My husband ordered a grilled shrimp, chicken combo. We spent about $80 on lunch, but the food was good and the portions large. We could have saved food and $ by not ordering the kids meals and simply sharing our meals with our young children. We couldn't eat it all and hate wasting food! It was a fun treat before the road back home!

Review:  Right after entering the Animal Kingdom, back to the left, kind of tucked away, is the Rain Forest Cafe. That place is truly unique (there is one at Downtown Disney too). If you have the chance, definitely eat there. You will experience the gorgeous fish tanks, the adult and baby elephants doing their mechanized thing, a rain forest thunder storm - it is so neat. We had lunch there - burgers, fries - the kind of burger you used to get - not fast food stuff. Waitress was great - funny, nice - went out of the way to be entertaining even though the wait person for our area had called off sick and this waitress was pitching in and doing extra tables you never would have known it. She was super.  Try this place -also very good value for the money. Lunch for two was about $30.00

Review:  Handy if you are at Animal Kingdom. You feel like you stepped from Disney into the real world because the surroundings are not at Disney level. Food, OK, expensive for what you get, but you do get a lot!

Review:  Poor food.  Gristly beef. Poor service. Waaayyy overpriced for the investment in money and time.  Cheesy animation.  Never again

Review:  This is a must!!!!!! The decorations are wonderful. The food is fantastic. You get so much!!!!  Kids young and old will enjoy this restaurant. It is somewhat expensive but you get your moneys worth and more.  There is one in Animal Kingdom and Downtown Disney. Don't pass it up!!!
