Review: I must admit I was not expecting much after reading
the reviews for this restaurant. Lots of complaints about price and quality of
food. But I had my 13 year old son with me and I had a feeling he'd like the
place. I was right! He was mesmerized the entire 45 minutes (that's about how
long it takes to cycle through the hilarious selection of campy 50s and 60s sci-fi
movie clips and ads on the big screen.) As far as the food goes, he had the
burger and shake and I had the caesar chicken salad
and shake. We both enjoyed our lunch. The service was very good too. The prices
are "pricey" but I imagine given the set-up (drive-in theatre)
it costs more to keep the place up. I'd definitely go back--- especially
with teenagers or folks who were around when those B movies were in the
theatres!

Review: You can almost walk by and miss this restaurant. It's
set up like a drive in movie theatre inside and you get to sit in "cars" while
you eat and watch a movie reel. Save wait time by going early to make your
lunch reservation and then come back later at your time. The food and atmosphere
are great!

Review: We went to the Sci-fi restaurant
last month for the first time. I am so glad we did. That was the neatest place
to go with your sweetie or with the kids. First you are lead back to your car,
which its kind of dark, but they do great with lighting once you are in the car,
you sit down and its usually 3 seats or two seats, or you have a choice of a
table with chairs. You can fit 2 people per seat. The menu was very good to
choose from and the burgers were to die for. You receive lots of food for the
money. It is kind of pricey but well worth it. You also get to watch sci-fi
movies on the big drive in theme screen. There are stars everywhere and feels
just like sitting outside! It was a awesome experience. I would suggest getting
in as soon as it opens and making reservations. They have really cool glowing
glasses for the kids to drink from also! Great place and great fun!

Review: A great idea to experience this restaurant. We had
eaten there several times in past years but didn't want to spend the extra money
to do it again. We ate our lunch somewhere else cheaper and then went there in
the middle of the afternoon for dessert. We got to "cool off", eat a great
dessert and still have the fun.

Review: Don't go here for the food-it's not great. But do go
here for the ambience. It's a lot of fun for the young and the not so old. (6
and 7 year old and 46 and 48 year old)

Review: The idea of sitting in a convertible, watching a
movie and having a hamburger & shake was so cool. Our waiter had a
really good personality and the service was good. I would eat there again
and highly recommend it!
