Carousel of Progress - New Sign

There’s a Great Big Beautiful New Sign at the Carousel of Progress

Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress will always hold a soft, rotating spot in my heart, so I was thrilled to see that Disney has installed a new sign for the show. Gone are the giant colorful cogs, replaced by a sleek, metallic sign that evokes the future while harkening to the past – a perfect metaphor for the entire Carousel of Progress show. This sign features the 1975 logo from when Carousel of Progress migrated from Tomorrowland in Disneyland to the Magic Kingdom. In fact, this sign feels like it could very well fit in at Future World, since the Carousel of Progress logo looks very similar to Epcot’s original set of Future World icons.

Walt Disney Imagineering did a great job with this sign. Fingers crossed that this is a good sign (get it?) for an update to the attraction itself.
