Late September/early October is shaping up to be a great time to be a D23 member at Walt Disney World. We already told you about D23’s Epcot 30th Anniversary Celebration on September 30th, and now D23 is putting on the Sip & Scream event on October 2nd and 3rd. A “chilling twist to its annual Sip & Stroll event,” Sip & Scream promises to off the best of the Wine and Food Festival while adding a flair of Halloween. For more details and how to buy tickets (which go on sale today at 1 p.m. EST), continue reading about D23’s Sip & Scream.

Sip & Scream begins on the night of October 2nd for those buying the more expensive “Super Scream” package. Guests are invited to dress up like their favorite Disney character or movie star for a nighttime costume party at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The evening will feature a tour of Disney’s Creative Costuming building (you’ll be familiar with it if you’ve been on the Backlot Tour), followed by dinner inside of The Great Movie Ride. This promises to be a very unique night at Hollywood Studios.

October 3rd invites both guests who buy the one-day experience and guests who buy the Super Scream package to enjoy eating and drinking festivities all day long at Epcot. The day begins at 10 a.m. with coffee and tea inside of World ShowPlace. Guests will be shown presentations “highlighting this year’s Epcot International Wine and Food Festival and how Disney celebrates the ghoul-iest time of the year.” After the panels, guests will be able to sample some of the new dishes served at the Wine and Food Festival with a pairing party. Then at 1 p.m., guests are able to “stroll World Showcase and Future World at their leisure.” There will be a hospitality suite inside of the America pavilion exclusive for Sip & Scream guests.

Finally, on the evening of the 3rd, attendees will have reserved seating to see Sugar Ray at the America Gardens Theatre at 7 p.m. . Immediately after the concert, the France pavilion will hold a dessert party and private viewing of IllumiNations.

This sounds like a very fun way to celebrate Halloween a bit early this year. D23 also promises “surprises and commemorative gifts.” If you’re a D23 member (or you know a D23 member) and you’re in Orlando this October, be sure to check this out.

D23 Members can reserve a ticket for themselves and one guest. Tickets are $125 for the one day experience on October 3rd, or $320 for the “Super Scream Package,” which includes the festivities on both the 2nd and the 3rd of October. Park admission is not included for October 3rd. Tickets go on sale today, June 27 at 1 p.m. EST/10 a.m. PST at D23’s Website.
