Review: We stayed at Wilderness Lodge in
February 2010. The resort is quite
beautiful. We stayed at the Villas. The quiet pool and hot tub were
perfect. It was chilly during our time, but we walked the nature trail
and used the pool once. Our room was a studio since it was just my
husband and I staying. It was very nice. The bathroom was small, but the
shower was terrific. We had no problems and we are planning on coming
back in November. Hopefully, it will be warmer and we will enjoy the
bike riding and use of the boats.

Review: I am a DVC member and the
Wilderness Lodge is our home base. It's a
beautiful place ( just as nice as the Grand Californian in Disneyland ).
We loved the swimming pools and the on-site
restaurants. The only drawback to hotel is the
"creek" or the "standing water" surrounding the property. It is
a breeding ground for mosquitoes. Definitely bring sun block that
contains bug-repellant. We were all eaten
alive (at the bus-stop, walking to the dock,
and near the swimming pools)! The boat (which goes directly to Magic
Kingdom) also had millions of the little biters! Try to get an
outside seat! Other than the unbearable
mosquito bites, a good time was had by all. |
