Disneyland is reopening on April 30, and Disney has just announced that tickets for Disneyland Resort will go on sale April 15. In compliance with California COVID restrictions, capacity will be limited and only California residents will be allowed to purchase park tickets at first. Guests will need both a theme park ticket and a theme park reservation in order to visit Disneyland and California Adventure. Disneyland theme park reservations are set to open up on April 12
How can you purchase Disneyland tickets once they go on sale? Here are the steps according to Disney:
1. Visit Disneyland.com or the Disneyland app to set up your Disney account. A Disney account is required to complete your ticket purchase.
2. Beginning April 15, purchase and link your tickets.
3. Make your Theme Park reservations, subject to availability.
4. Get ready to visit the Disneyland® Resort!
Here are a few more things you need to know for Disneyland’s reopening:
- Groups can be no bigger than three households
- Proof of California residency is required for entering the park.
- Tickets are only required for guests ages 3 and up. As before the pandemic, children under 3 get into the parks for free.
- Masks will be required for all guests ages 2 and older.
- Park hopping will return. Here’s how park hopping will work once Disneyland reopens.
