Learn More about All Star Vacation Home Communities and Vacation Homes

In my numerous trips to WDW, I’ve stayed in every type of lodging imaginable – from on-property hotels to off-property hotels to vacation club condos.  Each of these have their advantages and drawbacks.  This last March, I tried a different way – renting a home, and I have to admit that the All Star Vacation Homes I stayed in were definitely a fantastic way to go!

For less than what most deluxe on-property hotel rooms cost, you can stay in a five bedroom home within minutes of Disney World.  Both the homes I stayed in were executive level homes with five bedrooms and four bathrooms.  The homes I stayed in were beautifully decorated with many amenities.  After looking around the house for a few minutes, one of the people in my party even remarked, “Who needs Disney when we have this house?”

Staying in a vacation home had many benefits over staying in a hotel room.  First of all, multiple bedroom homes are great for families who want to stay together but do not want to be on top of each other.  One of the conveniences of the home was the fact that you could drive you car up practically to the door making unloading the car much easier than at any hotel.  After a busy day at the parks, the pool and hot tub were very enjoyable.  The house even has extra towels to use when you go swimming.  The house was filled with little extras that made our vacation that much better.  For example, once we arrived at the house, bread, cereal, milk, eggs, and butter were waiting for us.

Each bedroom came with a TV and DVD player, so that it’s practically impossible to fight over who gets the remote.  The living room had a big screen television with a Bose stereo system.  The garage in one of the homes had been turned into a game room complete with a pool table and foosball table.  After staying in this house, you’ll wish that you lived here!
