It’s no trick. After a 3 year absence, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is coming back to Magic Kingdom. The hard-ticketed Halloween event is a long-time Disney World fan favorite, featuring special character meet and greets, a Halloween parade, and one of the most spectacular fireworks displays at WDW.
Here’s everything you need to know about the return of Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party in 2022.
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party Dates
MNSSHP will return to Magic Kingdom starting August 12 and will run on select nights through Halloween. The party will take place from 7 pm through midnight.
- August: 12, 16, 19, 23, 26, 30
- September: 2, 5, 9, 11, 13, 16, 18, 20, 23, 25, 27, 29, 30
- October: 2, 4, 6, 7, 10, 11, 13, 14, 16, 18, 20, 21, 23, 25, 27, 28, 30, 31
Guests with party tickets will be allowed into Magic Kingdom starting at 4 pm, and guests without tickets will have to leave the park by 7 pm.
When do tickets go on sale for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party?
Tickets go on sale May 12 for Disney World Resort guests. For all other guests, tickets go on sale May 18.

How much do tickets cost?
Ticket prices range from $109 – $199 per person. The price will vary depending on the night you choose.
What is coming back to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party?
For the past couple of years, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party has been replaced by the Disney After Hours Boo Bash, which did not have some of the most popular elements of MNSSHP.
Here’s a rundown of everything returning with Magic Kingdom’s Halloween Party:
- The Headless Horseman will ride down Main Street as a prelude to the parade.
- Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade is back! This is one of Disney World’s best parades with an extremely catchy soundtrack.
- The Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular stage show, starring the Sanderson Sisters, is back as well.
- The Not So Scary Halloween Party will feature Trick or Treat Trails, and guests will receive a reusable trick or treat bag.
- Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular, hosted by Jack Skellington, will feature a mixture of fireworks and projections.
- Space Mountain, Mad Tea Party, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Monsters, Inc Laugh Floor will all receive themed overlays.
