One of our favorite Disney World freebies is returning. Club Cool, which gave guests the opportunity to give a taste test to popular Coca Cola flavors from around the world, is coming back to Epcot this summer. The original Club Cool closed in September 2019 as part of Epcot’s transformation, and Disney had only given a vague promise that the experience would be returning in some form. Today, we received confirmation that a new “revitalized” version of Club Cool will open up next to the newly announced flagship merchandise store known as “Creations Shop” this summer.
Both Creations Shop and Club Cool will be in “World Celebration,” near where the old Mouse Gears shop used to be – just past Spaceship Earth on the left side of the pavilion. But what will the new Club Cool be like?
From Disney Parks Blog:
(The New Club Cool) will celebrate Coca-Cola in a fresh new way, while keeping the fan-favorite experience that invites you to explore tasty drinks from around the world. This space will also have some new magic to bring the global experience of Coca-Cola to life for you.
Free soda samples: confirmed. What else does the “new magic” entail? We can only guess – maybe an expanded bar section with for-purchase cocktails? Floors that aren’t constantly sticky? Beverly being the only available flavor? We’ll have to head to Epcot this summer to find out.
Considering all of the Disney World freebies that have been disappearing over the past few months, Club Cool coming back is a great trend in the opposite direction. Are you excited for Club Cool to return? What flavor do you hope they bring back? Let me know in the comments!
