As part of Disney World’s 50th Anniversary overview on YouTube, Disney shared some important details about their most highly themed resort experience ever. Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is a 3-day, 2-night immersive adventure that transports you to the Halcyon, a Corellian MPO-1400 starship that is akin to a cruise liner in the Star Wars galaxy. Guests will blast off on a journey that will include interactive missions, dining, shows, and more. This all-inclusive experience is akin to a cruise on land, with “excursions” on Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser starting at $4809 for 2 guests.
If you’re excited to take the jump to lightspeed and spend a few days in a galaxy far, far away, Disney just let you know when you can put your hard earned credits down to reserve your cabin on the Halcyon. General bookings for Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will start on October 28. The one-of-a-kind Star Wars hotel will open up on March 1, 2022.
During the YouTube video, Imagineer Ann Morrow shared an overview of the hotel’s experience, emphasizing that the choices you make will impact your experience. She also gave a first glimpse inside the bridge of the Halcyon, which will be a key hub for activities during the story that unfolds. As Morrow said, “The bridge is the working helm of the starcruiser where the captain and crew guide the starship to all manner of exotic locales. To the edge of the galaxy and back, in comfort and style.”

If that starting price of $4,809 for two nights for two guests is accurate I will not be experiencing it, not even remotely close to considering it. I would elaborate more but you get the idea. 🙂
