We’re back with part five of our Outdoor Dining Guide to Walt Disney World, and we’re heading to the location with the most outdoor dining options in all of Disney World: Disney Springs. With dozens of fantastic restaurants, Disney Springs is kind of a theme park for food, except no ticket is required. If you want to have a great meal outside, Disney Springs should be your best bet.

Whether you’re trying to limit your indoor exposure during the pandemic or you just want to enjoy the fresh air, there are a lot of great reasons to eat outside at Disney World. I’m dividing each entry up into “The Best” and “The Rest.” The restaurants listed in “The Best” either have delicious food, great outdoor seating sections, food that’s easy to eat on the go, or any combination of the above. If a restaurant is listed in “The Rest,” it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a bad option. It’s just not one of our favorites.

Disney Springs Tip: If you can’t find a reservation through the MyDisneyExperience app, try using OpenTable, which works at several Disney Springs Restaurants. You can read more about this in this article: What to do if you don’t have a reservation at Disney World.

Disney Springs Outdoor Dining Guide

The Best Disney Springs Outdoor Dining

Table Service

Wine Bar George Upstairs Patio

  • Wine Bar George – With an unparalleled wine list and really good food menu, Wine Bar George is one of our favorite spots in Disney Springs. They have fantastic patio seating on their second floor which offers an awesome view of Disney Springs. You do have to go inside the restaurant in order to reach the patio.
  • Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ – Another amazing Disney Springs eatery, head here if you are a fan of good ol’ southern cookin’, and removing the g at the end of “ing” words. We love the fried chicken here, even though it is on the pricy side, but you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, especially their moonshine cocktails. Their outdoor Shine Bar + Social area is open-air and an awesome option for al fresco dining.
  • Jock Lindsay’s Hangar Bar – This Indiana Jones-themed bar is one of our favorite bars at Disney World, and it has one of the best outdoor seating areas for WDW bars and lounges. While you don’t get the adventure-filled theming, you do get a wonderful waterfront table while you enjoy sipping on a Cool-Headed Monkey.
  • Boathouse – Fantastic seafood and waterfront dining. You really can’t go wrong with lunch or dinner at Boathouse.
  • Frontera Cocina – This restaurant offering Mexican fare via Chef Rick Bayless has a large open-air patio.
  • Morimoto Asia – Like Wine Bar George, Morimoto offers a second floor patio with an awesome view of Disney Springs. In our opinion, this restaurant offers next-level Asian cuisine.
  • Paddlefish – This was just on the cusp of missing the best list, as the food isn’t quite to the level as the other restaurants listed here. But we’ve been happily regularly visiting this restaurant for years. They offer some good seafood options, and eating on a paddleboat is pretty novel, even if it is stationary. Their outdoor seating has some of the best views in Disney Springs, and it’s not quite as popular as a restaurant like Boathouse, so you may have an easier time getting in.
  • City Works Eatery & Pour House – With 1,731 square feet of outdoor space, City works has a massive open-air dining area and bar with 90 craft beers on tap. The restaurant claims to have “Disney Springs’ best patio, hands down,” and with happy hour offerings and a pretty impressive food menu, we have to agree that this should be one of the restaurants you consider for outdoor dining at Disney Springs.

Counter Service

D-Luxe Burger - Disney Springs

  • D-Luxe Burger – Our favorite burger joint in Disney World, D-Luxe Burger has great burgers, great fries, and great shakes. Their outdoor seating options are also pretty abundant.
  • Chicken Guy! – Guy Fieri’s chicken restaurant is a surprising hit in our books. Their chicken fingers and chicken sandwich offer a tasty lunch for a reasonable price. Be sure to join the Sauce Squad to get two complimentary sauces.
  • Blaze Pizza – Get as many toppings as you want with Blaze’s fast fired create-your-own-pizzas. Their large outdoor patio features plenty of seating.
  • Morimoto Asia Street Food – Get some of the flavors from Morimoto Asia via a fast-casual window. Be sure to try the hoisin chili spare ribs: they’re famous for a reason!
  • Polite Pig – This restaurant offers both counter service and bar service. Their menu includes really good barbecue, craft beer, and cocktails, and they have a partially-shaded patio.
  • Starbucks – There’s no seating at the Starbucks near World of Disney, but it is a completely outdoor window, so it’s possible to get your Frappuccino to-go without having to step inside.

The Rest of Disney Springs Outdoor Dining

Table Service

Planet Hollywood - Disney Springs Outdoor Dining

  • Planet Hollywood – Planet Hollywood has some limited outdoor seating options.
  • Paradiso 37 – This restaurant offers a lakeside outdoor covered patio.
  • Raglan Road – Pretty solid Irish cuisine with a small outdoor seating area.
  • House of Blues – While we think there are better options for southern cuisine and BBQ in Disney Springs, House of Blues has an awesome outdoor courtyard with live music.
  • Rainforest Cafe – While it’s nice that Rainforest Cafe has an outdoor dining area and Lava Lounge bar, you miss out on a huge draw of this restaurant, which is the indoor ambiance and animatronics. The food here is very middle of the road in our book, so we’d recommend going somewhere else for outdoor dining.
  • Splitsville Luxury Lanes – Splitsville actually has a really good menu, so coming here for an outdoor meal on their patio would be a good call. The only knock against it is that you won’t be able to bowl without being inside, which removes a huge draw of this restaurant.
  • STK Orlando – STK has an awesome rooftop area, but the menu is on the pricier side, and with a more “clubby” atmosphere, this isn’t one of our go-to Disney Springs options.
  • Terralina Crafted Italian – Pretty solid Italian offerings with an outdoor patio.
  • Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill – Not one of our favorite Disney Springs restaurants.

Coke Store Rooftop Bar - Disney Springs Outdoor Dining Guide

  • Coca Cola Store Rooftop Bar – This rooftop bar is awesome, with a huge variety of Coke offerings, but they do not sell food.
  • Cookes of Dublin – You can find good fried shrimp and fries here, as well as a few outdoor tables.
  • Daily Poutine – Outdoor kiosk selling a few varieties of poutine, which is traditionally fries, cheese curds, and gravy.
  • Food Trucks – Grab and go street cuisine from three different trucks: Mac & Cheese, Hot Diggity Dogs, and 4 Rivers Cantina Barbacoa Food Truck. Features a large seating section nearby.
  • Pizza Ponte – Sicilian-style pizza by the slice, with outdoor tables with umbrellas.
  • B.B. Wolf’s Sausage Co – Outdoor kiosk offering grab and go artisan sausages.
