We’re a little over a month away from The Art of Animation, Walt Disney World’s newest Value Resort, from opening. As we reported last month, Disney’s Art of Animation’s Finding Nemo wing, the first of four wings, will open on May 31st. This video gives a preview of the exteriors and interiors of this bright and colorful resort, as well as shares the thoughts of Pixar Supervising Animator Shawn Krause, who visited Disney World for a tour of the Art of Animation. As you can see from the video, everything about this resort is bright and friendly. The details and the theming inside the rooms are absolutely great. Personally, it looks like Disney’s Art of Animation Resort sets a new high-bar for Disney World’s Value Resorts. It even looks more appealing than some of the moderate or deluxe resorts I’ve stayed at in recent WDW trips. Here are the opening dates for the wings. You can book online or call 407-WDW-MAGIC to make a reservation.
- Finding Nemo Wing – May 31.
- Cars Wing – June 18th
- The Lion King Wing – August 10th.
- The Little Mermaid Wing – September 15th
What do you think of Disney’s Art of Animation Resort? Will you try to stay there your next Disney World trip, or do you prefer a different hotel? Let me know on Twitter or Facebook, or email me at [email protected].
