Located in the heart of the American Adventure Pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase, Liberty Inn serves up a pretty standard arrangement of American fare. A bacon cheeseburger\u00a0burger, hot dog with fried onions, and chicken nuggets are so American, they might as well come in red, white, and blue. The quick service restaurant also offers up New York Strip Steak, Southwest Chicken Salad, and Fried Shrimp. Kids can get the standard offerings of mac and cheese, chicken nuggets, and cheeseburgers.\u00a0A fixing bar is also offered, which is always a welcome addition to any Disney World quick service restaurant.<\/p>\n
As one walks among the countries of the World Showcase, the Liberty Inn’s all-too-familiar offerings of burgers and hot dogs seem to pale in comparison the to rest of the World’s cuisines. Perhaps it’s just that we’re too familiar with American cuisine, but we’ve never had a burger here that we would describe as better than just “OK.” It’s actually somewhat of a shame that this is representing American cuisine in the World Showcase, especially since cuisine at some of the other pavilions are represented with spectacular results.<\/p>\n
Unless you are absolutely craving a hot dog or chicken fingers, we recommend checking out some of the other restaurants in World Showcase rather than heading to Liberty Inn.<\/p>\n
