A perk for guests at Disney World Deluxe Resorts is getting even better this December. Extended Evening Hours is coming back to Disney’s Hollywood Studios on December 15 and 22.

What is Extended Evening Hours?
Extended Evening Hours is an extra hours perk for guests staying at Deluxe Resorts, as well as Shades of Green, Swan, Swan Reserve, and Dolphin. Guests at these resorts get to enjoy a certain park on select evenings for two hours after regular park closing. Disney World has been running Extended Evening Hours at EPCOT on Mondays and Magic Kingdom on Wednesdays every week this year.
Extended Evening Hours is much more rare at Hollywood Studios. The last time guests could enjoy staying late at Hollywood Studios was for a single night in April.
December 15 and December 22 both land on Thursdays. Eligible guests will be able to enjoy Extended Evening Hours at Hollywood Studios from 9 PM to 11 PM those evenings.
Disney World Tip: If you aren’t staying at a Deluxe resort, you still should pay attention to these dates. One of our best Disney World tips is to always be mindful of the schedule for special events even if you aren’t attending them. Crowds at Hollywood Studios will be much heavier on these days, which means longer lines than normal. So if you can’t attend Extended Evening Hours, avoid DHS on that day.
If I was visiting Disney World at this time and had access to this perk, I would plan on park hopping into Hollywood Studios in the second half of the day. That way I can visit a less crowded park earlier in the day, and then enjoy the lower crowds and lower lines during Extended Evening Hours.
Which attractions will be available at Extended Evening Hours at Hollywood Studios?
Not every attraction is available during Extended Evening Hours, but you will be able to go on the biggest and best rides at Hollywood Studios during this time, including Rise of the Resistance.
