Disney just announced via Twitter that Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort will remain closed until further notice due to the coronavirus pandemic that has upended normal life across the America and the world. Disney announced the closure of its parks over two weeks ago, setting a tentative April 1 reopening date. As confirmed cases of COVID-19 continue to increase throughout the United States, many businesses deemed non-essential or that would promote gatherings of large groups have been forced to suspend operations.

Disney did say that it will pay its cast members through April 18, at the very least. Hopefully, Disney will be able to extend these payments to its employees for as long as the closure is necessary. As for when Disney will be able to reopen its parks, all available information is currently speculation.
Stay safe out there.
