Here’s some sweet news. After closing for a refurbishment and expansion in March, Magic Kingdom’s main shop for treats on Main Street is returning. According to Walt Disney World’s website, the Main Street Confectionery will be resuming operating hours starting September 29.
The candy shop is a great place to get delicious treats, such as Mickey-shaped Rice Krispie treats, fudge, and candy apples. During the closure, Magic Kingdom was offering sweets at the Main Street Cinema.
The Main Street Confectionery will reopen in time for the kickoff of Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebration. Be sure to check out all the latest updates on what’s going on at Disney World during the 50th Anniversary.
