Chewie… we’re home.
Disney has released the first photo of one of the marquis attractions in the upcoming Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge – the unnamed Millennium Falcon ride. This attraction will give guests the chance to live out the dream of millions of Star Wars nerds by manning the Falcon’s cockpit during a secret mission. This photo shows one of the ship’s hallways, and, if this photo is any indication, it seems like Imagineers are going to hit this one out of the Galaxy.
One of the more intriguing things we know about the Millennium Falcon ride is that it is interactive, and how you perform will have consequences in Galaxy’s Edge. Do well on the mission, and you will be rewarded with credits. Do poorly, and you have to deal with the fact that you disappointed Chewbacca. Oh, and possibly a bounty being on your head.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens at Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios in 2019. Until then, stay tuned to Guide2WDW to find out more about what sort of adventures you’ll get into on the planet of Batuu.
