About
Located in Downtown Disney, this movie-memorabilia eatery was all the rage when it opened and was franchised worldwide. It seems like themed restaurants like Hard Rock Cafe and Planet Hollywood were everywhere. After closing most locations, Planet Hollywood still resides in Downtown Disney. It’s iconic blue lit dome welcomes guests to a dining room filled with movie props and glass cases filled with precious costumes from beloved films.
Planet Hollywood has a boundless menu, trying to have a little bit of everything. Appetizers, salads, soups, pasta, steaks, burgers, seafood as well as endless bar offerings make up the menu at Planet Hollywood. This restaurant is very loud and gives off the feel of a tourist trap. While you may want to try this out if you’ve never been here, the food feels like been there, done that. The draw of this restaurant is the theming and the chance to see movie props in person, not the food.
Planet Hollywood sells their iconic t-shirts at this location, as well as in a shop in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
