Reflections of China is a 14 minute long, Circle-Vision 360 movie that takes guests on a tour of China’s historic landmarks and iconic cities. The movie depicts the Great Wall of China, Shanghai, the Forbidden City in Beijing, Hunan, Guilin, Hong Kong, and Suzhou in beautiful panoramas. Since this is a 360 degree movie, the images completely surround you. This effect can be immersive and awesome, or disorienting if you suffer from any sort of motion sickness. Reflections of China and other Epcot films are recommended for first time visitors who want the complete World Showcase experience, but as someone who regularly vacations to Walt Disney World, this attraction rarely makes my plans.
Tips and Trivia
- This show was originally Wonders of China.
- While visiting the China Pavilion, be sure to take time to se the beautiful detail that encompasses the entire pagoda. The gardens are quite lovely, and have been known to feature the animals of the Chinese calendar.
- If you get dizzy easily, you might want to avoid this attraction, as the Circle-Vision 360 technology can be a bit disorienting.
