Attention Disney World foodies! Are you ready for some grand news, courtesy of Disney Parks Blog? One of Disney World’s best restaurants is making its splashy return to the Seven Seas Lagoon. Located at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Narcoossee’s reopens on April 1, 2023, bringing back a signature waterside dining while debuting totally revamped menu.
Here are all the details you need to know about the return of Narcoossee’s at Disney World, including reservations and a preview of the new menu.
A Refreshed Dining Space
The entire interior of Narcoossee’s has been revamped and enhanced. The design is based on the concept of “land and sea,” while still featuring the same panoramic views guests loved before the restaurant had its lengthy closure.
A Classic Menu, Reimagined
The new menu at Narcoossee’s also is themed to “land and sea.” The menu will feature plenty of brand new culinary creations that bring the best of both surf and turf. However, if you’re a longtime fan of this restaurant, have no fear! Several of Narcoossee’s classic dishes will be back on the menu, with a few enhancements.
Here are some of the culinary highlights that you can expect to tantalize your tastebuds when the restaurant opens in April.
Bread: “Upon sitting down for your meal, you’ll be greeted with a recipe created by Chef Kristine specially for this location – an Artisan Boule of Sourdough made with a perfectly toasty crust and baked daily in the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa bakery.”
First Course: For the first course, Narcoossee’s offers a range of “masterfully crafted dishes” such as the restaurant’s famous Bisque, but now with an “enhanced tableside presentation.” Guests can also indulge in two new starters: the Beef and Ricotta Tortelloni or the Ocean-inspired Charcuterie Board, featuring ahi tuna, octopus, and house-made sausage.
Main Course: For the main course, guests can savor sustainable seafood, including Chef Noah’s signature Blackened Redfish. The culinary team at Narcoossee’s has also created a Roasted Vegetable Paella for plant-based diners and a Dry-Aged Pork Ribeye Chop for those looking for meatier fare.
A few of Narcoossee’s guest favorites will also be returning, like the Plancha-seared Scallops with Parisian Gnocchi and Surf and Turf featuring tender filet mignon and butter-poached lobster tail.
Desserts: The dessert course also features the return of a fan favorite: Pastry Chef Kristine Farmer’s legendary Almond-crusted Cheesecake with Lambert cherry sauce and Chantilly cream. New desserts include the Berry Pavlova, and the Pineapple Bavarois.
Drinks: The mixologists at Narcoossee’s have curated a new cocktail program inspired by the Victorian era, with the signature Empress Lime Gimlet being highlighted as a must-try. The drink menu will also feature an extensive wine list, as well as zero-proof beverages.
