At Disneyland, some things have been a bit slow in getting back to normal. Even slower than a parent carrying their sleeping five year old all the way to the Mickey & Friends Parking Lot after a full day in the parks.

Of course, I’m talking about the Disneyland Parking Trams, which have been out of commission since the park reopened last year after its COVID-induced closure. Guests parking at the Mickey & Friends or Pixar Pal parking structures have been forced to take a lengthy walk to get to Disneyland and California Adventure. Disneyland previously announced that the parking trams would return early this year, and now we know when the iconic trams will be clear to take guests to and from the parking garages.

Disneyland announced on social media today that the parking trams will return on February 26, 2022.

It’s been almost two years since guests have been able to ride on the trams. There will be no physical distancing requirements implemented when the vehicles will be available again. The return of trams at Disneyland comes shortly after California will remove its indoor mask mandate for those who are vaccinated, although that is unlikely to affect Disney’s mask policies.

Stay tuned for more updates on what’s coming back to Disneyland after the COVID closures and restrictions.
