Located at the bottom of The Tree of Life, this trail allows visitors to get a great view of Animal Kingdom’s famous wildlife. Discovery Island Trails offers guests a chance to get up close and personal with some very exotic animals.
Since you can enjoy Discovery Island Trails at your own leisure, this attraction is a great way to relax from the usual Disney World routine or spend sometime while waiting on a FastPass or other members of your party to be done with a ride.
The wildlife found at Discovery Island Trails includes the following:

- Greater Flamingo
- White Stork
- Cape Teal
- Agouti
- African Comb Duck
- Silver Teal
- Great Winged Macaw
- European Polecat
- Axis Deer
- Asian Small-clawed Otter
And many more. Since the animals of Animal Kingdom are one of the main draws of this Disney World park, be sure to take some time to walk the trails.
