Downtown Disney in Orlando is currently in the middle a massive transformation into Disney Springs, and two auto-related additions have just been opened to the public.
The first addition is Exposition Park, also known as Food Truck Park. Last year, Disney debuted four food trucks at Downtown Disney, each themed to one of the four parks at Disney World. I’ve been a big fan of the food trucks since they debuted (the slider from the Epcot truck is probably the best burger I’ve had at Disney World), and Exposition Park now gives the trucks a centralized location across from D-Street on the West Side of Downtown Disney. Food Truck Park also includes limited seating, as well as a great view of the waterfront.
The second addition will be a huge relief to anyone who has tried to find a parking spot at Downtown Disney in the past year. A huge parking garage has opened on the West Side, which definitely helps the parking situation a lot.
A second parking garage begins construction this month on the Marketplace side of Disney Springs.
