Want to find out how to embark on this quack-tastic adventure around the world?
What type of attraction is DuckTales World Showcase Adventure?
DuckTales World Showcase Adventure is an interactive scavenger hunt attraction. With missions in seven countries throughout the World Showcase in EPCOT, players Join Scrooge and the gang as they search for the Seven Plunders of the World.
Here’s how the game works: Once you join a mission, you are given clues to find specific locations throughout World Showcase Pavilions. Once you find the location, you will trigger a special effect or mini scene, many that incorporate animated figures of DuckTales characters.
If you’ve played Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure or Kim Possible’s World Showcase Adventure in the past, then you’ll be very familiar with DuckTales. It’s the same type of attraction, but with a brand new story, missions, and effects.
Where to play DuckTales World Showcase Adventure
You can play this scavenger hunt in the following World Showcase pavilions.
- Mexico
- Norway
- China
- Germany
- Japan
- France
- United Kingdom
Each country has three assignments and one finale, and each mission takes about 25-30 minutes to complete. Replays are encouraged, as each mission will have variable elements, so it won’t be exactly the same.
Once you’ve completed all of the countries, you’ll unlock the finale mission, which is playable within the Play Disney Parks app itself. Oh… speaking of the Play Disney Parks app, you’re gonna want to download that.
How to play DuckTales World Showcase Adventure
The Play Disney Parks app is required to play DuckTales World Showcase Adventure, which is available on iOS and Android.
While at EPCOT, open the Play Disney Parks app. Select the DuckTales World Showcase Adventure from the list of EPCOT games one of two ways:
- On the main screen, tap the location bar below your avatar and select EPCOT. Below this, you’ll see an activity cards with a game. Swipe to the left or right until you see the DuckTales card. Hit play.
- Tap the map icon, and then find the “DT” logo located on the map.
Once you start the DuckTales World Showcase Adventure Game within the app, you’ll be asked which country you want to do a mission in. You can complete the missions at your leisure – there is no time limit, and you don’t need to do them in any specific order.

Unlike older versions of World Showcase Adventure, the Play Disney Parks app is currently the only way to play this scavenger hunt. There is no physical kiosk to kick off the adventure. While the previous iterations of this attraction featuring Agent P and Kim Possible would give guests physical devices (i.e. flip phones) in order to play, you must play DuckTales World Showcase Adventure with your own smartphone.
Should I play DuckTales World Showcase Adventure? Guide2WDW’s take
Yes! We have LOVED previous versions of this attraction. It’s one of the best Disney World activities for families to enjoy together. The missions are pretty straightforward, but they’re very entertaining and engaging for kids and adults alike. The physical effects are a delightful element that make it genuinely exciting to complete each mission.
This is one of the best Disney World attractions that you can enjoy with no lines, no waiting, and no up charge. Just download the Play Disney Parks app before you get to EPCOT, and you’ll be ready for an adventure that’s a real duck-blur!
