A Good Attraction, But Don't Wait Too Long
Located in Epcot’s France Pavilion, Impressions de France is a film that offers a look at France’s culture, landscape, and major landmarks in a 200 degree field of view. It’s a great overview of France with lovely widescreen imagery.
As with all of Epcot’s World Showcase movies, my recommendation is to see them at least once to get the whole World Showcase experience. The waits are usually short enough to place them in the “Why not?” category of attractions. However, I must admit that Impressions de France is a low priority when I make my Walt Disney World plans, and I only get around to seeing it once every few trips.
Tips and Trivia
- I find that the entrance to Impressions de France somewhat blends in with the surrounding shops. This is a good thing, as the theming is very strong in the France Pavilion, but it can make the entrance a little easy to miss. Just head straight past the fountain at the entrance of the France Pavilion, and you will find Impressions de France. If you go down the path that zigs to the left, you’ve gone too far!
