Shrink down to the size of a rat and take a culinary caper in Paris as depicted in the 2007 Pixar hit film, Ratatouille. Located in the France Pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase, this 4D trackless ride has guests board on rat-shaped vehicles and join Remy on an adventure through Gusteau’s famous restaurant. Guests will zip through the larger-than-life kitchen and dining room as they are being chased by Chef Skinner, and they will even be able to smell the food as they try to make their escape.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is now the best ride for kids at Epcot, and offers an experience unlike anything else at the park. The ride’s high capacity should mean that it’s worth making your list of must-do attractions, as wait times should remain reasonable, and virtual queue availability is plentiful.
This ride does feature 3D screens and lots of movement, which might affect some guests who are sensitive to motion sickness (especially with 3D screens).
This ride originally opened in 2014 at Walt Disney Studios Park in Disneyland Paris Resort as Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy.
Must Know Info about Virtual Queues
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure debuted with a virtual queue in place. In order to go on the ride, you must join the virtual queue via the MyDisneyExperience app. Currently, guests with an Epcot reservation can join the virtual queue at 7 am each day. If you don’t have a reservation or weren’t able to get a virtual queue slot at 7 am, you’ll have another chance to join the queue at 1 pm. You’ll have to have already entered Epcot in order to join the 1 pm allotment. Unlike Rise of the Resistance, availability for Remy’s virtual queue has been relatively good for guests. The 7 am allotment has run out within 5 minutes, and the 1 pm allotment has been available for 1-3 hours after it opened up.
Here’s our full breakdown of how the Virtual Queue works at Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.
