As you may already know, Magic Kingdom’s hub is undergoing a massive expansion. Over the weekend, the first phase of the hub opened to the public. The most prominent additions are Plaza Gardens East and West, which will act as the Fastpass+ viewing area for the Wishes fireworks.

The new areas are open to all guests before 8 pm. The Plaza Gardens include artificial turf, which some guests have already started to use as a place to sit down and relax during their day at Magic Kingdom. After 8, these areas are open exclusively to guests with Fastpass+ reservations for the fireworks.

Another attractive addition to the hub are the new fountains. The character statues that used to surround the Partners Statue in the center of the hub are now displayed around the fountains. These are sure to be a popular photo spot.
