Disney World just announced the virtual queue openings for the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind roller coaster. EPCOT’s newest attraction’s virtual queue will open for all guests at 7 am and 1 pm.

However, Disney just made the Extended Evening Hours perk for Deluxe Resort, Deluxe Villa, and other select resort guests even better. Guests eligible for Extended Evening Hours at EPCOT will be able to join the virtual queue at 6 pm.

And the best part for these guests? They can join the virtual queue from anywhere.

From Disney:

“Registered guests staying at a Disney Deluxe Resort, Disney Deluxe Villa Resort or other select hotels will have an additional opportunity to request to join the virtual queue at 6 p.m. on select dates during extended evening theme park hours. Guests with this benefit do not need to be in EPCOT to request to join at that time.

Guests will need valid admission and a theme park reservation for the same park on the same day to experience extended evening hours — or, guests may experience extended evening hours if they have a ticket or annual pass with the Park Hopper option and first enter the park where they made their reservation.”

Who is eligible for the Guardians of the Galaxy 6 PM opening?

All guests who are eligible to visit Extended Evening Hours when it is happening at EPCOT will be able to join the virtual queue from anywhere at 6 PM. Extended Evening Hours is available at the following hotels and resorts:

When does EPCOT have Extended Evening Hours?

Eligible guests will only be able to join the 6 PM Virtual Queue when EPCOT has Extended Evening Hours, which happens on most Mondays.

EPCOT is scheduled to be open from 9 PM to 11 PM on every Monday between now and the end of July, and we would anticipate that this pattern will continue. The Extended Evening Hours schedule is subject to change, so check Disney’s website before finalizing your plans.
