Bright suns! One of our favorite Disney World tips is to always ask for a Magic Shot from a PhotoPass photographer. These are special effects that Disney adds to your PhotoPass pictures that change based on where you are. So if you’re in front of the Castle, Tinkerbell could be flying by, or if you’re in Animal Kingdom, you might be posed holding baby Simba. These photo effects are extremely fun, and they add to the value of buying PhotoPass at Disney World.
As part of the May the 4th Star Wars celebration, Disney World is adding four new themed PhotoPass Magic Shots to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. These pictures come courtesy of Disney Parks Blog.
Read on to find out where you can find these new special Star Wars photo ops at WDW.
PhotoPass Image 1: Training Probe Droid
Train like Luke Skywalker in A New Hope with this photo of you deflecting a blast from floating droid. This shot was taken in the courtyard between Droid Depot and the Milk Stand.
PhotoPass Image 2: Bounty Hunter Holopuck
(Read this in your best Carl Weathers voice) Tap into your inner “Mando!” with this holo puck bounty shot. Select PhotoPass photographers will take this shot, so use your best bounty hunting skills to find one.
PhotoPass Image 3: Mace Windu Lightsaber
Tip:Â You don’t need to buy a lightsaber to get some extremely cool PhotoPass pictures. After sunset by Oga’s Cantina, you can find a PhotoPass photographer with a Mace Windu replica lightsaber.
PhotoPass Image 4: Boba Fett’s Spaceship
Boba Fett’s Spaceship has been spotted flying over Black Spire Outpost. Head to the walkway near Droid Depot for this action packed shot.
