Are you excited to blast into the Grid on TRON Lightcycle / Run when it launches in Tomorrowland? Well, get ready to fuel up with some futuristic fare at Energy Bytes, a new Tron-themed snack kiosk. Disney World just shared details on Magic Kingdom’s next quick service eatery, and it’s full of tasty treats and savory bites to get your taste buds racing.
With some unique snack items that blend familiar flavors with modern culinary techniques, it looks like Energy Bytes could be a popular spot when it opens soon.
Will this new snack kiosk be your go-to spot for some seriously tasty treats? Let’s jump on our Lightcycle and dive in.
Energy Bytes Location
Energy Bytes will be located near TRON Lightcycle / Run in Tomorrowland.
Energy Bytes Opening Date
Disney has not announced an opening date for Energy Bytes, only that it is coming soon. We would expect it to open sometime between now and TRON Lightcycle / Run’s April 4 opening date.
Energy Bytes Menu
Drawing inspiration from the world of tomorrow, Energy Bytes will serve up breakfast bites, savory snacks, sweet treats, and refreshing beverages.
Breakfast Bites
If you’re heading straight to Tomorrowland right after rope drop, Energy Bytes has you covered with Chocolate Cake Doughnut Holes topped with mocha sauce.
And even better: there’s now another place to get Joffrey’s Cold Brew Coffee at Magic Kingdom! This is my personal go-to coffee drink when I visit Disney World. This cold brew also features the same mocha sauce found on the doughnut holes.
From Disney Parks Blog:
This iced sip is the perfect combination of that classic coffee flavor with a touch of sweetness. These will surely be on my list to start my Magic Kingdom morning!
Savory Snacks and Dumplings
In the mood for something savory? The Tron-themed snack kiosk is also introducing a new snack name to the Disney Foodie lexicon: Digital Dumplings. There will be two varieties at opening: Buffalo Chicken and Beef & Broccoli.
Both snacks sound like they provide a futuristic twist on familiar flavors. The Buffalo Chicken Digital Dumpling “perfectly combines chicken dumplings, blue cheese powder, and cayenne pepper broth.” The Beef & Broccoli Digital Dumpling features a ginger-soy broth and broccoli pesto. Both of these sound like strong contenders to join our list of the Best Snacks in our Magic Kingdom Dining Guide.
Sweet Treats
Craving something sweet? Look no further than the Strawberry IceOform, a refreshing combination of strawberry ice cream mochi, graham crackers and cheesecake foam. For a sweet sip, try the frozen Watermelon Refresher with yuzu and ginger.
We want to hear from you!
