The preview for the Marvel-themed coaster in World Discovery will take place on the following dates:

When can other guests ride Cosmic Rewind?
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will open on May 27. Considering that previews will begin quite a bit before the opening date, it’s reasonable to assume that Disney might have a soft opening of the attraction for regular guests sometime between May 21 and May 26. Although that is speculation.
What is Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind?
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is a roller coaster with a brand new type of vehicle. Walt Disney Imagineering calls the ride vehicle an “Omnicoaster,” because they can program the individual cars to rotate around to control what the rider is looking at. This is a play on the “omnimover” ride vehicle that Disney pioneered with The Haunted Mansion. The Guardians coaster will take that concept of a rotating ride vehicle that directs the rider’s viewing experience and take it to a whole new level with the speed of a roller coaster.
Cosmic Rewind will also feature a backwards launch – a first for a Disney roller coaster.
Where is Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind located?
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is located in World Discovery in EPCOT, near Mission: SPACE. This ride replaces Ellen’s Energy Adventure in the former Future World.
Does Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind have a height requirement?
Yes. The height requirement is 42”.
