While part of me is freaking out about the relentless march of time (seriously, how is the year almost half over?), the other part of me is just jubilant over the idea of spending the holidays at Disney World. And Disney has been announcing some extremely exciting holiday news, including the debut of a new holiday party at Hollywood Studios and the dates and details for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a separately-ticketed event that runs each year during November and December at Disney World.

On select nights, Magic Kingdom is transformed into a winter wonderland. The party features festive entertainment, fun treats, and special character appearances.

 2023 Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Dates

Magic Kingdom’s holiday party runs this year from November 9 through December 22 on the following evenings.

  • November: 9, 10, 13, 14, 16, 17, 19, 21, 22, 26, 28, 30
  • December: 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 10, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, 22

Ticket Prices for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

Tickets will range from $159-$199 per adult, and $149-$189 per child (ages 3-9).

When do MVMCP tickets go on sale in 2023?

Guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Shades of Green, and the Swan and Dolphin hotels can start purchasing their tickets as early as June 29, 2023.

All other Guests may purchase tickets beginning on July 6, 2023.

Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade - Disney World Christmas Guide

Disney Parks Blog confirmed that many fan-favorites will be returning for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party this year, as well as confirmed some critical information about how to ride Tron Lightcycle Run at the event.

  • Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration – “Join Mickey and his pals at the Cinderella Castle stage for the ultimate must-watch Christmas extravaganza – Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration. The show features nostalgic and modern medleys of holiday music paired with dance performances.”
  • Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks – “Minnie Mouse orchestrates a sparkling spectacle over Magic Kingdom as a part of Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks. Full of holiday magic, the show includes dazzling castle projections, fireworks and seasonal songs.”
  • Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade – “With his famous flying reindeer leading the way, Santa Claus will join Mickey Mouse and friends in the must-see “Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade” as it makes its way through the park.”
  • Frozen Holiday Surprise – Cinderella’s Castle will light up with a brand new experience inspired by Frozen, brand new for 2023. This will take place at the party, as well as during regular park hours.
  • Tron Lightcycle Run: Experience Magic Kingdom’s newest ride via the virtual queue during the party!
