If you’re a Disney World Annual Passholder, WDW is bringing back an awesome perk. In the My Disney Experience App, Disney World just announced that V.I.Passholder Days are making their grand return in June 2023. Disney World has previously held V.I.Passholder Events and had V.I.Passholder Perks, but this is the first time in a while that WDW will have this exclusive benefit for APs. It’s like Christmas in June, but with more Mickey and less snow (unless Elsa drops by).
Now, for those who are new to the Passholder family or need a memory refresher, V.I.Passholder Days are special, limited-time events created exclusively for Disney World Annual Passholders. Think of it as a VIP party where the “P” stands for Passholder – which you could probably gather from the name.
Disney recently released some details in The Passholder Buzz in the My Disney Experience app:
“No, it’s not your imagination—a new Passholder magnet is coming! Check out the special sneak peek video and see if it sparks any guesses as to who will be featured. Passholders will have a limited-time, exclusive space to rest and cool off with dedicated seating (subject to availability). Passholders can enjoy increased discounts on select merchandise and dining locations across Walt Disney World Resort, including select EPCOT International Flower and Garden Outdoor Kitchens. New Passholder exclusive treats will be available for purchase. Passholders will also get a chance to capture memories of their latest park visit with two limited-time photo ops.”

VIPassholder Days will take place from May 31 – June 30, 2023.
New AP Magnet to Inspire Your Imagination!
First and foremost, Annual Passholders will have a chance to get their hands on a brand new AP Character Magnet, which is one of our favorite Disney World freebies. Disney dropped a not-so-subtle hint during the initial announcement:
“New Magnet? Imagine That! Looking for the next Character? Take a look and see if something sparks.”
Well, that got our Disney-sense tingling, and we were right. Everyone’s favorite purple imaginary dragon, Figment, will be featured on the magnet. Considering how popular his popcorn bucket is, expect this magnet to be in high demand.
How to get the Figment Annual Passholder Magnet
The Figment AP Magnet will be available from 9 am – 9 pm at the Creations Shop.
From Disney:
“Each Passholder must be present and show their valid Annual Pass card, linked MagicBand or Disney MagicMobile pass, and a government-issued photo ID to receive a magnet. Limit one magnet per Passholder: Available while supplies last. Not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged magnets. Locations, dates and operation hours are subject to change without notice.”
AP Relaxation Zone in the Land
Next, we have an exclusive relaxation zone just for Passholders. When Disney first announced this, we were envisioning an AP-exclusive lounge, but it turns out that it’s just a reserved area inside the Land Pavilion next to Sunshine Seasons.
Two items will be available for purchase at Sunshine Seasons, exclusively for APs.
A Spark of Grape Shake: Grape, guava, passionfruit, orange and lime
Raspberry “Lemonade” Tart: Shortbread tart filled with lemon mousse, raspberry jam and raspberry mousse.
Increased Discounts and Exclusive Treats during V.I.Passholder Days
There’s more magic in store (and on the menu) with increased discounts on select merchandise and dining locations.
The Passholder discount will increase from 20% to 30% at select Disney owned and operated merchandise locations across Walt Disney World. The food and non-alcoholic beverage discount will increase from 10% to 20%. And yes, this includes select EPCOT International Flower and Garden Outdoor Kitchens:

Limited Time V.I.Passholder Photo-Ops
Finally, Disney mentioned “two limited-time photo ops,” and we now have the details on both of these PhotoPass Magic Shots.
Wall-E and Eve PhotoPass Magic Shot in Animal Kingdom: You can find this shot exclusively at the PhotoPass Photographer stationed at Discovery River near the Tree of Life between 10 am and 5 pm
Figment Magnet-inspired Magic Shot in EPCOT: From 10 am – 8 pm, you can pose with props inspired by the Figment magnet near the fountains by the Imagination Pavilion.

June just got a lot more magical for Disney World Annual Passholders with V.I.Passholder Days. It adds a unique blend of relaxation, exclusive goodies, increased discounts, photo opportunities. There’s even a brand new Figment freebie!
