Guests can get hundreds (and even thousands) of dollars to use towards dining during their vacation when they purchase a non-discounted vacation package.

Disney Dining Promo Card – 2023 Dates
The Disney Dining Promo Card is available at Disney World for non-discounted vacation packages starting most nights during the following dates:
- June 25 – September 14, 2023
However, the amount offered will vary depending on the arrival date.
Guests arriving most nights July 1 – 10 and most nights August 1 – September 14, 2023 will receive the maximum promo for their category: $150 per room per night for Deluxe, $100 per room per night for Moderate, and $50 per room per night for Value.
Guests arriving most nights between Jun 25 – June 30 and most nights between July 11 – July 31, 2023, will receive a slightly lower promo card per night: $125 per room per night for Deluxe, $75 per room per night for Moderate, and $35 per room per night for Value.

Disney Dining Promo Card – Minimum Requirements and Limits
To qualify for this deal, you must purchase a vacation package that has a minimum 4 night stay at a Disney Resort and has minimum 4-day theme park tickets.
There does not appear to be a maximum limit on how many nights can qualify for a Disney Dining Promo Card. Each card has a maximum limit of $1000, but you can be distributed multiple cards if your stay exceeds that threshold. According to Disney:
“One Disney Dining Promo Card per room—valid for packages that include up to $1,000 on a Disney Dining Promo Card. If a package includes more than $1,000 on a Disney Dining Promo Card, the value will be distributed across more than one Disney Dining Promo Card.”
Where can you use the Disney Dining Promo Card at Disney World?
Disney says that the digital Disney Dining Promo Card “is redeemable at select participating food and beverage locations at the Walt Disney World Resort.”
Restaurants and quick service locations located in Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, Disney Springs, Disney’s Water Parks, and Disney’s official resorts should accept the Disney Dining Promo Card.
What location’s DON’T accept the Disney Dining Promo Card at Disney World?
However, there are a few locations that will not accept the Disney Dining Promo Card. These include, but are not limited to:
- Merchandise locations and candy kitchens
- Dining locations at Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel and Walt Disney World Swan Reserve Hotel
- Dining locations at Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort
- Dining locations at Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels
- Dining locations at Walt Disney World Official Hotels at Bonnet Creek
- Dining locations at Walt Disney World Gateway Hotels
So you can’t use the Disney Dining Promo Card to purchase a Mickey Rice Krispie Treat at Main Street Confectionery or to purchase a meal at a third party hotel.
Does the Disney Dining Promo Card expire?
Yes. The digital Disney Dining Promo Card is not valid after September 30, 2023 for the current offer.
How is the Disney Dining Promo Card different than the Disney World Free Dining Promo?
This year’s offer is similar to the popular Free Dining Promo that ran in years past. However, Free Dining was based on the Disney Dining Plan, which would give you a certain number of meal credits per day of your stay. Depending on the credit, they could be redeemed for table service meals, counter service meals, and snacks.
This would somewhat hide the price of certain meals, and you could figure out ways to use the system for your benefit.
For example, all food items at the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival cost one snack credit. You could get more value out of the dining plan by using snack credits toward the pricier items, like the $9 filet at the Canada Pavilion, rather than a $3 cheese bread at Brazil. The same principal applied to ordering at restaurants. Guests would feel more comfortable ordering the most expensive item on a menu, since a $40 entree and a $20 entree both cost one dining credit.
Disney World has not brought back the Disney Dining Plan since it was “temporarily” suspended in 2020.
So instead of an allotment of credits, the Disney Dining Promo Card basically gives you a per diem – an amount of money to use for food based on the number of days you’re traveling.
Disney Dining Promo Card does introduce more flexibility. A meal credit with the Disney Dining Plan included a dessert and beverage, and I would always find myself eating more than I wanted because it was included in the plan. You could use the Disney Dining Promo Card to grab a drink and an appetizer at a lounge, which wouldn’t have been possible with the Free Dining promo on the Disney Dining Plan.
Because it’s a monetary amount, you could use the Disney Dining Promo Card to splurge on a really fancy meals and a ton of snacks at an EPCOT Festival on one day, and go relatively light the next day. With the daily allotment of meal and snack credits with the Dining Plan, you would somewhat feel the crunch to not waste any credits by the end of your vacation.
However, it’s pretty clear that the Disney Dining Promo Card isn’t nearly as good of a value as the Free Dining Promotion. Even if you’re getting the maximum deal at a Deluxe Resort, the $150 per night value is for you to spread across your entire traveling party. That might not even cover one meal at a table service restaurant for a family of four. Plus, you can no longer “game the system” to get the most expensive items for the same price as the cheapest items.
Despite that, Disney World’s Dining Promo Card still remains a compelling offer, and it could save you hundreds of dollars on your next vacation.
