A lineup of fireworks dessert parties are debuting at Magic Kingdom as Walt Disney World kicks off its 50th Anniversary celebration in October. Starting October 2 at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and October 3 at Magic Kingdom, Disney World will have 5 different dessert party options offering views of Disney Enchantment, the brand new fireworks show that premieres October 1.

Celebration at the Top: 50th Flavors and Fireworks at Disney’s Contemporary Resort

Contemporary Dessert Fireworks Party - Disney World 50th AnniversaryLocation: California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort

Starting Date: October 2

Description: “Join us for an intimate event as we toast the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort. Indulge in a high-energy cocktail party enjoying fine food, simmering sips and beautiful music while you await an incredible fireworks spectacular. Upon your arrival, dine on culinary offerings, including sushi, small bites, favorite dishes from the California Grill menu, desserts and even some odes to our past. Guests ages 21 and over can also enjoy such libations from the complimentary bar as California wine, beers and cordials.
As showtime approaches, step out onto the intimate and private observation deck reserved just for Celebration at the Top Guests. Here, you can enjoy an incredible view of Disney Enchantment—the newest fireworks spectacular to light up the night sky over Magic Kingdom park. The lights will dim as music plays on the deck, so you’ll be immersed in the magic of the night.
After the fireworks, head back inside to enjoy a sweet spread of petit four desserts, cordials and coffee.”

Drink selections will also be available, including an assortment of beer and wine for Guests ages 21 and over.

As showtime nears, Cast Members will escort you to a prime standing area in the Plaza Garden for priority viewing of Disney Enchantment”

First, check in at Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant starting 60 minutes prior to Disney Enchantment—a brand-new fireworks spectacular at Magic Kingdom park. As showtime nears, Cast Members will escort you to a prime location in the Plaza Garden for priority fireworks viewing.

After the fireworks, you’ll be escorted back to Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant, where you will discover a host of 50th Anniversary-themed desserts prepared by our pastry chef, including chocolate-dipped strawberries, butterscotch pudding and a variety of cheese. Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise

Starting Date: September 18. This will take place on select Wednesday and Saturday nights only.

Description: “Climb aboard one of Disney’s most iconic ferryboats for an unforgettable evening on the Seven Seas Lagoon.

Start by checking in at the Transportation and Ticket Center, where you’ll be greeted with a refreshing beverage before setting sail.
