As a Disney World fan, you might think you know every nook and cranny of the parks, but there’s a hidden gem at EPCOT that many people don’t know about: the Disney Rewards PhotoSpot. This exclusive, somewhat secret character meet and greet is reserved for Disney Visa Cardmembers, and it’s one of the best perks of owning the card. With a rotating cast of beloved Disney characters, low wait times, and free photo downloads, visiting the Disney Rewards PhotoSpot is one of our favorite expert Disney World tips.
In this post, we’ll share everything you need to know about the Disney Rewards PhotoSpot at EPCOT, including where to find it, how to access it, and who you can expect to meet. You’ll see why it’s one of our favorite ways to meet Disney World characters without a wait.

ToggleLocation: EPCOT’s Imagination Pavilion
The Disney Rewards PhotoSpot is tucked away in the back of the Imagination Pavilion, and it’s only marked by a small sign. So it’s quite easy to miss this character meet and greet.
You can find the Disney Rewards PhotoSpot near the dancing fountains and the Disney Pixar Short Film Festival. Just walk up the ramp to the left of the Journey Into Your Imagination with Figment entrance and past the fountains.
This was previously located at Innoventions.
The Characters at EPCOT’s Disney Rewards PhotoSpot
At the Disney Rewards PhotoSpot, you’ll get to meet and greet a rotation of two beloved Disney characters. Mickey, Goofy, Pluto, and Daisy all make appearances.
On my family’s most recent Disney World trip, we saw Mickey and Goofy, which delighted my toddler.
The Disney Rewards PhotoSpot Experience
This meet and greet only runs on certain hours. When we visited, this was available from 1:30 pm – 6 pm. Be sure to check the My Disney Experience app for the updated hours when you visit.
When you arrive at the Disney Rewards PhotoSpot, you’ll need to show your Disney Visa Card to a cast member in order to enter. Once inside, you’ll be greeted by a cool, short hallway filled with EPCOT-inspired geometric visuals. I was pretty impressed by the queue for this under-the-radar location.
Please note that strollers are not allowed inside, so make sure to park them outside before entering. We were able to park our stroller right in front of the entrance.
Your party will then get to meet with two characters as a PhotoPass photographer takes pictures. A cast member will scan your Magic Band or ticket, and the photos will automatically link to your Disney World account. You can find them in the photos section of the My Disney Experience app, right alongside all your other PhotoPass pictures. These photos are free as a perk of your Disney Visa Card.
Who Has Access: Disney Visa Credit and Debit Cardmembers
Both Disney Visa Credit Cardmembers and Disney Visa Debit Cardmembers have access to the Disney Rewards PhotoSpot at EPCOT. These cards come with a variety of perks at Disney World, including discounts on merchandise and access to special hotel rates. However, the exclusive character meet and greet at the PhotoSpot is easily one of our favorite benefits.
For anyone who frequents Disney World, obtaining the no-fee tier of the Disney Visa Card is a no-brainer, as it unlocks this magical experience alongside a host of other valuable benefits.
Why this character meet and greet is amazing
There are two main reasons why we love this Disney Visa Card perk so much: Short wait times and free photo downloads.
- Short wait times: We’ve been Disney Visa Cardholders for many years at this point, and we’ve never had a long wait for this meet and greet. Our most recent trip was during the peak crowds of Spring Break, which is one of the busiest weeks of the year at Disney World. We had no wait to meet Mickey and Goofy. We literally walked straight into the meet and greet room. It was easily one of the highlights of the trip.
- Free photo downloads: If you’re wondering whether you need to purchase PhotoPass to access the pictures taken during this meet and greet, the answer is no! As a Disney Visa Cardmember, you’ll receive free photo downloads of your Disney Rewards PhotoSpot pictures.
Tip: If you’re a Star Wars Fan, don’t miss the Disney Visa meet and greet with Darth Vader at Hollywood Studios, which has many of the same perks as this photo op!
