If there’s something I love more than Disney Parks merchandise, it’s Disney Parks merchandise at a bargain! There are several ways you can save money on official park merchandise, but one of the best ways is to take a trip to the Disney Character Warehouse, located at the Orlando Premium Outlet Mall. Official Disney Parks souvenirs are abundant at this store. On my last trip to the outlet, I was able to find Disney t-shirts, polos, fleece jackets, pins, plush, totebags, Vinylmation, and a small selection of collectibles all at deeply discounted prices.

Disney Merchandise is always evolving and changing, especially with merchandise that promotes a new movie or event. A lot of the surplus merchandise that isn’t sold in its initial run in the parks is available at the Disney Character Warehouse. This outlet is stocked with many treasures that filled Disney store shelves, possibly as recently as your last visit.

I recently visited the Disney Character Warehouse, and boy did I score. I purchased Mickey polos, totebags, lanyards, limited time merchandise, and a rare find of Olszewski lighted boxes.

Here are a few pictures of my great deals.

Mickey Polo

The red Mickey Polo was $36.95 in the Parks. At the Disney Character Warehouse, I paid $14.99.

Blue WDW Tote

This Retro Disney Flight Bag was $29.95. Outlet price: $11.99

WDW Tote

I saved $10 on this fun Walt Disney World Vinyl Tote. Parks Price: $24.95 DCW Price: $14.99

The next batch of stuff was so good, I couldn’t believe it was at the outlet store.

There was also a lot of retro merchandise from artists Kevin Kidney and Jody Daily that have been so popular lately. I got this set of three Disney World Attraction Posters as a gift for my son. He had noticed them on his last trip to the park, but wasn’t willing to part with the $65 the Art of Disney store was asking for them. For $25.99 for the set at the Character Warehouse, this was a no-brainer.

Speaking of Kidney and Daily, I had purchased many of their items at full price in the parks, such as Small World patterned mugs and teapots. So I couldn’t resist the matching plates, which retailed for $40.00. I scored them for $19.99.

My best deal of the day was three lighted boxes by the artist Robert Olszewski. I’ve been collecting these boxes for the last three years, and I was absolutely thrilled to find them at the Outlet. I purchased the Pirate Mickey, Turtle Talk with Crush, and Capt. Nemos 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea boxes. These boxes retailed in the parks from $85-$90 per box. The Disney Character Warehouse was charging $33.99 per box.

I scored these fab finds at the Disney Character Warehouse at the Orlando Premium Outlets on International Drive Suite 95. This location is in the Universal Studios area, but it is one of two in Orlando. There is a smaller location closer to Disney World at the Orlando Premium Outlets on Vineland Avenue. Suite 1252.

I can’t say enough about the excellent service I received at the International Drive store. The store was rather busy on the Friday afternoon I shopped, but the sales associate was so helpful as I continued to add merchandise to my purchase.

In the past, I’ve only purchased one or two items at the Character Warehouse. In my opinion Disney is making more interesting merchandise as of late. Maybe it was just kismet that I came in for one item and ended up buying over a dozen, but my opinion of the selection at the Character Warehouse has been raised. I hope to in the future to take some time away from the parks to visit the store regularly.

So if you’re looking for souvenirs at a very reasonable price, try visiting the Character Warehouse on your next visit to Disney. On a lucky day it can provide you with a lot of shopping satisfaction.

Tip When checking out the Character Warehouse at Orlando Premium Outlets, be sure to visit the many fabulous shop such as Ralph Lauren Polo, Banana Republic, and Coach.
